Memento was an installation I made at Tiger Strikes Asteroid in Philadelphia where 100 photographs were displayed of little figurines, tchotchkes, objects that were all bought from second hand stores. These "mementos" once held a special place, or a memory, or a gift for someone, but now stripped of detail, and with their backs turned to their audience, they take on a different life.
